I have personally seen/read neither the book or the show (Infact hadn't heard of it until a few days ago) but I have only heard good things. And stuff about it being a little saucy! Haha!

Sounds brilliant.
I wouldn't worry about it being depressing at points. Although it's not nice, I find that a book that can touch you with whatever emotion be it sadness, joy, anger etc. is always worth reading :)

Hey :)
Still not sure how to start one of these beasts so Im just going to plunge in and say Hi.
Im charlotte, Im 17, In college and an avid reader of books.

I love books. No joke. Stuff has broken in my room from the weight of books and I'm lucky enough to have a exceedingly cheap second hand book shop near by. So I own a lot of books.

My favourite authors are mainly Ian McEwan, David Foster Wallace, Andrea Levy(and a lot more that have popped out of my head) but I'm willing to try anything ;)

Umm not sure what else to put apart from I hope to get to know you all :) and Im looking forward to reading :D

I second this--I've read this book, and it's hysterical and written by two brilliant authors!! I love this book!! ^_^
